The Macedonian Croatian Association helped the children of Sabedin Bajrami primary school in the nearby village of Kamenjane with a plastic bottle recycling project started by Peace Corps Volunteer Jordan Lucas. Children brought in recycled bottles from their homes and neighborhoods for recycling and raised 800 Denars within a very short time. Members of the Macedonian Croatian Association and their Peace Corps Volunteer, David Nash-Mendez, helped crush the bottles, bag them, and deliver to a nearby recycling
